It is the most common method, i.e. install the cell phone jammer in the hall of every floor equally spaced. It can be installed in the ceiling in the hall or hung on the side wall in the hall. The installation height of the cell phone jammer is normally 1.8-2.5m
This type of method of cell phone jammer is applicable to the architectural structure with hallway in the middle and room at sides. It is also applicable to the architectural structure with hallway outside and room at one side.
If the signal of the cell phone is strong and near to the surrounding base station (the base station within the range of radius 100m) in the area where the target building locates, it should consider whether the outer wall supplementary installation method of cell phone jammer is needs according to the site situation besides the said cellular installation method floor by floor.
When the surrounding
Note: The anti-interference capability of the CDMA cell phone is much stronger compared with the GSM cell phone, therefore the effective shielding range of the cell phone jammer is smaller for CDMA cell phone. The difference is small, not more than 2-4m. Therefore, in the important location, amount of the cell phone jammer in the area where the interference is applied should be added to ensure the shielding effect of CDMA cell phone
When using the cell phone jammer to interfere, all channels of the mobile communication network which are possible should be interfered for instability of BCH, uncertainty of location where the cell phone jammer is used and possibility of using two BCHs and above in the adjacent areas in the same cell. It means that all frequency signals in such frequency ranges as GSM, DCS, PHS, CDMA, SCDMA, WCDMA, and TDS-CDMA should be sent so that interference with all cell phone signals can be realized and shielding of receiving the signal of the cell phone can be realized to cut off connection between the cell phone and base station.
The structural picture of the mobile communication network is shown as Figure 1, which consists of MSC (Mobile-service Switching Center) and base stations under its control. Every base station contains the transceiver. Although the covering range of the radio signal sent by the base station is a circle, the actual working range of every base station is the regular hexagon (also known as the cell) centered at the base station for effectiveness and connection of the whole network covering range should be considered. The whole covering range of all base stations equals to the integral arrangement of adjacent regular hexagons, which is shown as figure 2. The mobile phone jammer can block the signal from the base station.
